where our name came from

i hear like half of our clan ask where did the name big red 1 come from? well i was bored yesterday and looked up that name and got this, big red 1 was the first platoon to land on the d-day landing, they were made up of soldiers of all ranks and high moral, they were basically bodies to be thrown out there to distract the enemy while the second wave came in, but 5 soldiers survived the landing, i just thought id let u know cuz everytime i said our name i thoght of the big red bubble gum, and now that i read that its kind of cool that our name has such a great place in history

Ok Sawx ur history is a little distorted, u may have that part right but they also fought in th iraqi bosnia/kosovo, and persian gulf wars over the years and are 20,000 strong, but yea they do go in first at every fight but who cares u fight to win.
